She served as President of Malaysian Chapter of the International Geosynthetics Society (MyIGS) (2014\u20132024) and Asia Pacific Women Investors &amp; Innovators Network (APWIIN) President, with over 35 years of teaching experience in geotechnical and civil engineering. She holds a Diploma from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and BSc (Hons) and PhD from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom. Since 2017, she has contributed extensively to hill slope development as a member of the Penang State Geotechnical Council, technical committee member in reviewing Penang development, and Expert Panel in Reviewing Design for Slope Review Panel for Penang Hill Corporations. Her consultancy focuses on geotechnical assessment and stability studies, particularly in Penang and Perak. Actively involved in ASEAN geotechnical committees, her research interests include slope stability, landslides, ground improvement, and urban geoinformatics. She has published over 200 papers, supervised more than 30 postgraduate students and 80 undergraduate students.
